Barry Cullen Chevrolet Cadillac / FixAuto Guelph is recruiting for an Apprentice Collision Repair Technician to join our team! The apprentice collision repair technicain plays an important role in supporting the auto body repair process while gaining on-the-job training, experience and working towards the completion of the 310B certification. All experience levels are encouraged to apply. Wages will reflect a candidate's experience and certification.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Apprentices with strong work ethic and a good teamwork attitude are welcome to apply.
  • Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses.
  • I-CAR certification training and I-CAR welding certification would be considered assets.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to operate machinery and tools required to complete repairs.
  • Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time and using power and hand-held equipment.
  • Excellent customer services skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Efficient problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and reliability.
  • Some experience with working with Estimators to complete quotes.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history.
  • Open to continuous learning and development.
