Easy to manage
The Purchase Price lets you know up front how much it will cost to buy your vehicle at lease end. Or you can return your vehicle and avoid resale or trade-in hassles. The security deposit will be refunded if you comply with the lease agreement provisions.
SMARTLEASE features automatic gap protection which covers the "gap" between your insurance settlement and the financial obligations of your lease if your vehicle is stolen or destroyed in an accident. You are only responsible for your insurance deductible, providing you have fulfilled all of the contractual obligations of your lease prior to the accident or theft.
LEGALS: With SMARTLEASE, the lessee does not own the vehicle. It must be returned to the GM Dealer at the end of the lease. The lessee may choose to purchase the vehicle for the Option to Purchase Price stated at lease signing.
